school covid prevention

We are having school tomorrow.  We have looked at where we had some risk, which is meal times, and gone back to using half the gym for a lunch room, grouped by family, six feet apart. And every student will wear a mask all day, even when at their desks - previously this had been a little more relaxed.  Dr. Peterson called our staff meeting this afternoon to explain that close contacts are now considered households only, not in school where kids are masked. Close contacts are defined as being unmasked, closer than six feet for 15 minutes or more - kind of the definition of family life, but not school life, except for meals. Households are encouraged to stay home for five days that currently have covid by NSHC.
