To help us keep student attendance records accurate, if your child is experiencing an ongoing or recurring illness that results in frequent absences, please provide the school with a note from the clinic or medical provider. π©Ί
This helps us appropriately account for health-related absences and make sure our attendance records reflect the circumstances. β
Thank you for helping us keep our records accurate and for working with us to support your childβs health, attendance, and success at school! π©Άππ
White Mountain School students are now completing their fall MAP Growth benchmark assessments.
MAP Growth helps us understand what students already know, what they are ready to learn next, and where we can provide additional support. Teachers use the results to help plan instruction, set learning goals, and measure student growth throughout the school year. π
MAP is not a pass-or-fail test, and it is not a grade. It is one of the tools we use to better understand each studentβs individual learning needs and progress.
Families can help students be ready to do their best by encouraging them to:
π΄ Get plenty of sleep
π³ Eat a good breakfast
β° Arrive at school on time and ready to learn
π» Slow down, read carefully, and use the testing tools available to them
π Stay positive, take their time, and simply do their best
Testing will continue as students work through and complete their assessments.
Weβre proud of our students and excited to see what they know, how theyβve grown, and where their learning will take them this year! ππ
